Hi, my name is Liz Salzberg Harbers, I am a Preschool teacher, a Wedding Coordinator and the Coach of the middle school cheerleaders at Immanuel. God has blessed me with the many opportunities to serve our Lord.
Some may ask what do Wedding Coordinators and Preschool teachers have in common?
In the beginning of the school year, teachers meet their students and families! In the beginning of the wedding coordinating process you meet the bride and groom! You learn about your students and the couple.
As you help your students with routines; you help the couple with all the details for the wedding ceremony.
Carpet time is meant for learning for Early childhood teachers it’s important to keep their attention and keep their minds engaged! As for a wedding rehearsal it’s important to keep the bridal party in line, keep their attention so they can learn what to do for the wedding ceremony.
Have you ever seen four year olds and groomsmen together on the same day? They get distracted easily especially when they are all together. It amazes me that the same language is used when I am teaching both of them!
The word “job” to a preschooler and the ushers for the wedding go hand in hand!
Door holder:
Preschooler holds the door
Ushers open and close the doors for the bridal party
Captains helper:
Preschooler helps the teacher
Ushers are the wedding coordinator’s right hand man!
Anchor:
Preschooler makes sure the line is straight
Ushers are the last ones out as they dismiss the guests
My favorite thing about wedding coordinating and being a preschool teacher is God is always there and we are always praising HIM.
He is there with the couple during the whole wedding process, rehearsal, their vows, the music, and marriage. He is there with me as I served the couple and their guests.
God is there with the preschoolers who are sad, happy, frustrated, angry or joyful. He is there with me as I serve each child and their families.
Psalm 16 says, “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
I am so thankful for the many ways God fills my life with joy as I serve in His kingdom.

Hello Liz!
My family has been a part of Immanuel’s congregation for many years and now that I am engaged, I could not imagine getting married anywhere else. Could you please give me more information on the pricing and availability for September of 2024 and June of 2025?
