Rev. Allen W. Schade
Pastor Al Schade has been at Immanuel since 1990. He and his wife, Diane, served in Ontario, Canada for 17 years after graduation from seminary. They met at Concordia University Nebraska where both trained as teachers. They were married in 1969 and have three children and 7 grandchildren, plus 6 stepgrandchilren.
At Immanuel, pastor served as associate pastor in evangelism and outreach, then administrative pastor and now associate pastor again, now involved in care ministries, such as hospital calling, Stephen Ministry, the Naomi Circle. He particularly loves teaching, participates when possible in choirs and Boar’s Head Festival, and occasional opportunities. Pastor and Mrs. Schade both enjoy being a part of a wonderful school ministry, love books, and look forward to travel opportunities. Diane’s confirmation verse, John 15:5, serves as a theme for the joy of ministry blessed and strengthened by our Savior: “I am the Vine, you are the branches; the same brings forth much fruit . . .”
