Philosophy of Teaching:
I believe that we are called to train young people in the Word and help them build a personal relationship with their Savior. I also believe that a servant heart is something that is valuable and we can’t expect students to develop a servant heart without giving them opportunities to experience “being a servant.” I believe that children will work “up to” or “down to” expectations of parents and teachers and I set high expectations while giving students the tools needed to meet those expectations.
Classroom Goals:
That each student:
– grows closer to their Savior
– succeeds in the academic areas that I teach
– is well prepared to begin their high school career
