Interests:
My husband and I have 2 children Thomas Patrick who will be going into 5th grade in the Inspire class and Hannah who will be going into first grade. We also have a furry boy named Jenga, who is a chocolate lab. We are a very active family who enjoy the outdoors, the lake and sports. I enjoy reading, being out on the boat and fishing.
Philosophy of Teaching:
My Philosophy is that every child is a unique gift from God. As an educator, I am to help and guide you to build positive relationships, guide them through their emotions, share Christ with them and help them through their academic schooling. I believe that students should have the opportunity to explore, collaborate, make mistakes and feel safe to try again. I hope that students will enjoy learning and problem solving and want to become lifelong learners.
Classroom Goals:
My goal for this year is to meet the needs for all my students. I want to embrace their strengths and give them the skills and confidence to work on their challenges. I know that a classroom is built on relationships and classroom community. I will strive to make sure every student feels safe and respected in our classroom to continue to learn in academics, social/emotional and in Christ.
