Interests:
I enjoy working on projects of all kinds!…especially projects around the house and for Inspire. I also truly enjoy exploring alternative education methods and “geek-out” reading education philosophy books. Trains, fire trucks, army men, and Star Wars have become a newly found interest, thanks to my three little boys who find so much joy in exploring the world.

Philosophy of teaching:
I believe all children are unique creations of God, possess giftedness, and are deserving of an educational experience which allows them to grow into life-long learners. I am a champion for self-paced learning. It is flawed to expect all children to learn at the same pace. Just as children learn to crawl and walk at different ages, children learn to read, write, and comprehend at different times/ages-they are all fully capable, in their own time!

Classroom goals:
I hope all students see mistakes as learning opportunities and gain confidence to become self-directed, life-long learners who love Jesus!
