Immanuel encourages students to develop an enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) at an early age engaging with students in one of its 2 dedicated STEAM labs.
Our STEAM Labs provide a problem-based learning environment for our students to explore. Here our students have additional opportunities, space, and resources to be problem solvers, risk-takers, critical thinkers, and innovators by taking on real-world problems. When students work through a combination of learning strategies they discover the nature of a problem, understand the variables involved and gain a perspective of the engineering design process.
Our STEAM Lab enables students to have opportunities to engage in activities like:
Robotics
Coding
3D printing
Engineering
Electronics
Simple Machines
Rube Goldberg Challenge
Virtual and Augmented Reality
Chemical Reactions
Thermodynamics
Makerspace
First Lego League
Web Page Development
Broadcast production
