Kelley Malady

Current Position:
LASE Resource Teacher

I previously taught at Immanuel for 5 years as the LASE Resource Teacher from 2003-2008. I then spent 7 years staying at home with my children before returning to LASE and Immanuel.

B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education with concentrations in Early Childhood and Special Education. Concordia University, Seward, NE, 2003

Philosophy of Teaching:
I believe that every student can learn. All students learn in their own way. Education should include various methods and techniques in an attempt to enable students to use their potential to the best of their ability. When working with students who have unique learning needs, it is important to create developmentally appropriate goals for each student and design instructional plans to help each student meet these goals.

Classroom Goals:
I strive to build positive relationships with students so that I can help them recognize their own strengths, abilities, and learning styles. I hope to help students learn the skills that will help them be successful as they go through school, and have a positive learning experience. I love to see the look on a child’s face as they gain the confidence that comes with new successes!
