As part of the Ministry Clarity process, Immanuel Lutheran Church is working towards a 3-5 year ministry plan. We are working with Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) to assist in this process.
So far, we have worked with the congregation and members to form a Vision Statement: Immanuel Lutheran Church is a family equipped to enrich our communities for Christ.
We believe our Vision Statement assists our congregation in understanding Christ’s calling for us as His people. Our various Ministry Clarity teams are using our Vision Statement to begin to outline our plan for the future.
However, we do not want all of the planning to happen just within the clarity teams. We need your input! The people who call Immanuel a family have an important voice in this plan.
As the next step in the Ministry Clarity process, Immanuel is hosting a congregational Imagine Event, with two options to attend on either November 19th at 6:00 p.m. or Monday, November 21 at 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall Lower Level. Childcare is available at both events.
Unlike the first congregational events held in June that stated the identity of Immanuel, this event is designed to help members dream about the future of our congregation. This is an opportunity to share your vision for what Immanuel might look like in three to five years with the Ministry Clarity team.
During this Imagine Event, we will talk in small groups about the current ministries of Immanuel and how they might grow and change in the future. We will also tour Immanuel’s campus to envision how Immanuel’s buildings will aid in facilitating ministry for this generation and the next.
We pray that many congregation members will attend the Imagine Event to express dreams and opportunities for Immanuel in our overall Ministry Clarity process. Please consider attending on either November 19 or 21.
