MINISTRY CLARITY UPDATE
We first met with LCEF (Lutheran Church Extension Fund) a year ago to begin the Ministry Clarity Process to help Immanuel look forward in faith. After many congregation meetings, surveys, meeting with ministry leaders and pastoral staff, we have prepared a Vision Statement to help us plan the next 3-5 years at Immanuel:
We are a family of believers equipped to enrich our communities for Christ.
The 4 Targets we will be using to guide us are:
- Assimilation (how we grow as a family of believers)
- Stewardship (how we care for what God have given us, not only our resources but our buildings and campus)
- Outreach (how we reach out to our St. Charles community and beyond)
- Discipleship (how we grow in our relationship with God)
Please read over our Ministry Plan below and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact any of the pastors, principals or staff.
This team is responsible for reviewing our current facilities to see if they serve the ministry well and to look towards the future of what will be needed.
Stewardship Planning

This team is responsible for looking at all current financial resources of the congregation to make sure we can facilitate our ministry for years to come.
Prayer Team
Leader: Jolene Siebarth (jsiebarth@immanuelstcharles.org)
This team is responsible for praying for the entire process.
Immanuel Lutheran School & Early Childhood Team
Leaders: Scott Huster (shuster@immanuelstcharles.org) & Elissa Beaver (ebeaver@immanuelstcharles.org), leaders
This team is working through our accreditation process to keep ministry on track for the school.
Hospitality Team
This team will host events throughout the process and celebrate the things we are doing.
This team is responsible for communicating the process to the congregation.
