I hope you enjoyed this New Year New Testament quiz and that it magnifies what we may already know and remember - and that there is also much yet for us to learn as we explore and study God’s Word and apply it to our lives!
Here is what is coming as we continue this New Testament study:
A) Unit/day 3 will provide big picture overview along with the primary purpose and focus of the entire New Testament.
B) Unit/day 4 will be a historical overview of the 400 year period between the Old and New Testaments. This long intertestamental period “when the prophets were silent” is a fascinating and very unfamiliar period of time to most people. This unit will complete our New Testament introductory material.
C) For Unit/day 5 we will dive in to the Gospel of Matthew and continue with an overview of the entire 27 Books of the New Testament examining background information (authorship, date written, location, audience, etc.), points to ponder, historical highlights, doctrinal insights, and/or personal application.
We pray God strengthens our faith on this spiritual journey as we examine the “manger” of His Holy Word where Jesus Christ is made known to us. May God feed and strengthen our faith in Jesus this New Year as we cherish His life-changing and eternal life-giving Word!
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for revealing Your Good News, forgiveness, and salvation to us through the Books of the New Testament. You came from Heaven to earth as Immanuel, the Word made flesh, to save sinners like us. During our 2022 January journey of faith, help us to grow in the grace, love and joy of Jesus. Amen.
