Interests:
Outside of my classroom, I love spending time with my husband; walking to local coffee shops, spending time with our family and nephews who live next to us, and exploring St. Louis. I enjoy photography, calligraphy, and thrift shopping.

Teaching Philosophy:
To best teach and reach my students, each student needs to be built up in love. In order to build students up, they need to know Christ’s love for them, as a child of God. I work to maintain a learning environment where students know to try their best, but through their mistakes, we receive God’s mercy and grace. Nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus!

Classroom Goals:
My goal in the classroom is to instill confidence in each student through their school work, but also in who Christ created them to be. Through our relationships, students are encouraged develop new skills to be successful. Each student has gifts and talents that are an essential role to our classroom and new skills to develop throughout the year to be successful. We often practice “I can” statements to build confidence. I can do anything through Christ who gives me strength!
