Philosophy of Teaching:
My students come to me with a variety of strengths and weaknesses. I want each of them to reach their potential and to use the talents that God has blessed them with. Through encouragement of my students and by providing a safe and positive classroom atmosphere, I can help all my students achieve success. As a classroom teacher, it is important I set high standards, while providing structure and support, and encourage my students to do their best. I want my students to feel a part of a community of believers where each person is accepted and respected.

Classroom Goals:
I want my students to:
• grow in their faith through study of His Word and through prayer
• mirror God’s love for them by treating others with respect and courtesy
• learn to be a problem solver
• develop good study habits and organizational skills
• increase their love of reading and their skills as writers
