OUR MISSION
Our youth ministry exists to REACH all youth, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and to challenge them to DISCOVER their ministry and HONOR God with their life.
FIVE AREAS FOR FOCUS
REACH, CONNECT, GROW, DISCOVER, and HONOR:
Opportunities for teenagers to REACH, CONNECT, GROW, DISCOVER, and HONOR in our youth ministry extend well beyond the teaching that takes place on Sundays. There is a commitment in our ministry to teach others to know and enjoy God and while at the same time impact our culture and our world.
REACH- Evangelism is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who don’t yet have a personal relationship with him.
“Go and make disciples.” Matthew 28:18
CONNECT- Fellowship happens when youth and families are known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged in their spiritual journey.
“Consequently you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of Gods household.” Ephesians 2:19
GROW- Discipleship is the building up or strengthening of believers in their quest to be like Christ.
“Let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity.” Hebrews 6:1
DISCOVER- Ministry is meeting needs with love. Each believer using his or her God-given gifts for ministry.
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9
HONOR- Worship is celebrating Gods presence and honoring him with our lifestyle.
“Offer your bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1
