Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Saint Charles, Missouri! We are a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Our church believes and teaches the whole of God's Word in its truth and purity, and administers the Sacraments according to the commands of Christ Jesus. We worship and serve together the Triune God: Father, who created and cares for us; Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died and rose to redeem us from sin, death, and Satan; and Spirit, who calls, enlightens, empowers and keeps us in the true faith.

Fellowship Hall - 5:00pm. Communion precedes 2nd and 4th Sunday.
Sunday Worship Service
Sanctuary - 8:00am. Communion on 1st and 3rd Sunday.
Sanctuary - 9:30am. Communion on 1st and 3rd Sunday.
Fellowship Hall - 10:45am. Communion on 2nd and 4th Sunday.
Monday Worship Service
Sanctuary - 6:30pm. Communion follows 1st and 3rd Sunday.

Immanuel Welcomes 43 New Members
In this group of new members there are amazing blessings to share:
16 transferred to Immanuel from other LCMS congregations.
2 joined via reaffirmation of faith.
10 received God's gift of Holy Baptism. An entire family of 4 was baptized!
15 were received via adult confirmation after being instructed in the basics of the Christian Faith and what it means to be a Lutheran Christian.
24 of these new members were first introduced to Immanuel through our Lutheran School.
Help welcome them and invite them to become involved through worship, Bible study and a host of other activities at Immanuel. Pray that the Holy Spirit will keep them growing in their faith in Christ.
In hope of developing stronger connections, we are launching a new Momentum E-News publication for all adult leaders, middle school/high school youth and parents, and any interested in youth ministry. The Momentum E-news will provide snapshots of what's going on in youth ministry, reflections from parents and youth, and links to online devotions or parenting resources. Get connected to our e-news by clicking on Momentum e-news and filling out the provided sign up form. Encourage your parents, friends, brothers & sisters to sign up.
Got God? We become poor in spirit when everything we rely on falls apart. For some, it is losing loved ones, for others, failure of a cherished dream or ambition, loss of a job, loss of faith in others or ourselves, prolonged periods of dryness in our spiritual life, illness, or other experiences.
In these painful times, in this poverty of spirit, we learn to redefine our attachments. We learn not to rely on the usual things that our culture relies on to define one’s identity: wealth, status, possessions, and even other people. All of these can be taken from us, and we learn that God alone is the only enduring one. We find our true self in our relationship with God.
